Here are the nominees for the Hernando County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Aaleyah Adams, Sr., Hernando: Led the Leopards with a team-high 16 points in a win over Central. 

Linsey Orr, Weeki Wachee: Recorded a double-double (21 points, 10 rebounds) in a loss to Cypress Creek. 

Samantha Suarez, Jr., Springstead: Finished with 11 rebounds, eight points and six steals in a win over Hudson.
