Despite owning the top seed in the region, the Seahawks are traveling in the first round after having their nine-match win streak snapped with a 2-1 loss to rival Land O’ Lakes in last week’s 6A-9 district final.
The Raiders, who entered the 6A-12 district tournament with a 6-6 record, won three straight matches by a combined 12-2 to take home the title.

Both teams made the playoffs with at-large berths thanks to ranking in the top eight in the region.
The host Mustangs lost in penalty kicks to Wharton in the quarterfinals of the 6A-9 district tournament. It was Mitchell’s third loss in the past four matches.
The Gryphons, meanwhile, lost to Hillsborough in the 6A-10 district final, snapping their three-match win streak.

The Terriers, the 6A-10 district champions, have gone through a dramatic turnaround. Their 10 wins have already surpassed their total from the previous two seasons combined.
The Gators, a traditional power, got hot at the right time, beating Wiregrass Ranch, East Lake and Land O’ Lakes for the 6A-9 district title.

The Eagles only two losses this season were to undefeated Palm Harbor University in the regular season and Land O’ Lakes in the 6A-9 district semifinals.
After going 1-3 in their final four matches of the regular season, the Bulls rebounded by getting their offense back on track. Bloomingdale scored five goals in each of its 6A-11 district tournament wins against Lennard and Armwood to take home the title.
