Boys lacrosse: Tampa Bay area player of the week — Feb. 13-18

Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area boys lacrosse player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.

Chris Ferrini, Sr., Mitchell: Recorded a combined 11 assists, 10 goals and seven ground balls in wins over Cypress Creek, Land O’ Lakes and Fort Myers Canterbury.

Anthony Iserino, Jr., Wesley Chapel: Finished with a combined 16 goals, eight ground balls and seven assists to help the Wildcats go 2-1 to start the season.

Michael Oliviera, Jr., Tampa Catholic: Ended up with a combined 10 ground balls and three goals to help the Crusaders split their first two games.

Cole Peck, Fr., Jesuit: Recorded a combined eight goals, five assists and five ground balls in wins over IMG Academy and Sarasota Riverview.

Jack Schellenberg, So., Osceola: Made a combined 35 saves for a .795 save percentage in wins over Berkeley Prep, East Lake and Sarasota.

Kyle Simonsen, Sr., East Lake: Ended up with a combined nine goals and two assists to help the Eagles split their first two games.
