Aliana Mercado, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Posted a 2.10 ERA and recorded a combined 19 strikeouts in the first two games of the season. 

Taryn Newton, So., River Ridge: Gave up two runs, one earned, and recorded seven strikeouts in a season-opening win over Cypress Creek. 

Mackenzie Tucker, Fr., Mitchell: Threw a five-inning, no-hit shutout (one batter away from a perfect game) and recorded 12 strikeouts in a win over Hudson.
