Baseball: Hillsborough County pitcher of the week — March 13-18

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Sunday. 

Ian Bast, Sr., Seffner Christian: Threw six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and recording nine strikeouts in a win over East Bay. 

Cameron Copple, Jr., Jefferson: Led the Dragons by throwing a five-hit shutout in a win over Steinbrenner. 

Garrett Hill, Jr., Plant: Threw a six-hitter and allowed one unearned run in a win over Tampa Catholic at the Saladino Baseball Tournament. 

Aden Knowles, Jr., Jesuit: Threw a combined nine innings, allowing three runs (two earned) while striking out in wins over Plant City and Sickles to help the Tigers take home the Saladino Baseball Tournament title. 

Zane Wright, Sr., Plant City: Tossed a six-hitter, allowing one unearned run while striking out eight in a win over Lennard.
