Softball: Pinellas County pitcher of the week — March 20-26

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County softball pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday.

Sarah Blackett, Jr., St. Petersburg: Threw a perfect game with eight strikeouts in a win over Largo that lasted five innings because of the mercy rule. 

Lilly Johnson, So., Seminole: Hurled a four-hit shutout with three strikeouts in a win over Countryside. 

Lucy Mondok, Fr., East Lake: Allowed a combined three runs (one earned) while striking out 28 to help the Eagles go 3-1 for the week. 

Isabella Snyder, So., Osceola: Tossed a combined four scoreless innings, allowing one run while striking out six in wins over Pinellas Park and Canterbury. 

Sophie Sokolowski, So., Pinellas Park: Threw a six-hitter, allowing one earned run and recording a strikeout in a win over Shorecrest. 

Mylie Stout, Fr., Palm Harbor University: Finished with a one-hit shutout and recorded three strikeouts in a win over Wesley Chapel at the Lady Canes Spring Invitational.
