Skylar Alvarez, So., Bloomingdale: Threw a two-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a win over Armwood that lasted four innings because of the mercy rule.
Amy Bak, Sr., Durant: Allowed a combined one earned run on six hits and recorded 19 strikeouts in wins over Riverview and Plant City.
Daria Bush, So., Middleton: Finished with a no-hit shutout (onewalk away from being perfect) and had 14 strikeouts in a win over Leto that lasted five innings because of the mercy rule.
Natalie Cable, So., Bloomingdale: Led the Bulls by throwing a one-hit shutout with 18 strikeouts in a win over East Bay.
Mimi Gooden, Sr., Gaither: Finished with a pair of shutouts, allowing a combined three hits and recording 18 strikeouts in wins over Alonso and Wharton.
KK Hollenkamp, Jr., Academy of the Holy Names: Threw a perfect game with 15 strikeouts in a win over Academy at the Lakes.
Alyssa Vallad, Sr., Sumner: Hurled a three-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts in a win over Lennard.
