Baseball: Hillsborough County hitter of the week — April 10-15

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County hitter of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Noah Berning, Jr., Bell Creek Academy: Led the Panthers with a triple, a double, five RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Tampa SLAM in the semifinals of the Sunshine State Athletic Conference tournament. 

Rory Beauford, So., East Bay: Went a combined 5-for-8 with three doubles and seven RBIs in two games. 

Wyatt Ewanowski, Sr., Berkeley Prep: Ended up going a combined 6-for-11 with a homer, three doubles and three RBIs in wins over Brooks DeBartolo, St. Petersburg Catholic and Clearwater Central Catholic. 

Will Jennewein, Jr., Tampa Prep: Went 3-for-4 with a homer, a double, three RBIs and two runs scored in a win over Academy at the Lakes. 

CJ Koenck, Sr., Seffner Christian: Had a combined two homers, five RBIs and five runs scored in wins over Bradenton Christian, Shorecrest and Indian Rocks Christian. 

Akhil Nimmala, Jr., Strawberry Crest: Finished a combined 5-for-7 with a homer, three doubles and four RBIs in wins over Freedom and Alonso. 

Robert Rossi, Sr., Bloomingdale: Ended up going a combined 4-for-5 with a homer, a double and nine RBIs in wins over East Bay and Middleton. 

Joshua Stephens, Sr., Steinbrenner: Went a combined 6-for-8 with three doubles, four RBIs and two runs scored in three games. 

Cassius Strayer, So., Plant: Finished a combined 5-for-8 with a double, two RBIs and three runs scored in wins over Alonso, Sumner and Bloomingdale. 

Jordan Yost, So., Sickles: Ended up going a combined 4-for-6 with a double and four RBIs in wins over Leto and Plant City.
