Softball: Hillsborough County pitcher of the week — April 17-21

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County softball pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

Natalie Cable, So., Bloomingdale: Led the Bulls with a four-hit shutout and 16 strikeouts in a win over Riverview. 

Haleigh Galvan, So., Newsome: Hurled a three-hit shutout with four strikeouts in a win over East Bay that lasted five innings because of the mercy rule.  

Ginger Hernandez, Sr., Plant City: Threw a one-hit shutout with eight strikeouts in a win over Spoto that lasted five innings because of the mercy rule. 

KK Hollenkamp, Jr., Academy of the Holy Names: Led the Jaguars by throwing a one-hit shutout with 12 strikeouts in a win over Berkeley Prep. 

Mady Pucillo, Fr., Lennard: Led the Longhorns by throwing a no-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in a win over Brandon that lasted four innings because of the mercy rule.
