Outlook

The Warriors, ranked first in the class by fifth in the state by MaxPreps, are in the state semifinals for the first time since 2019 when they won their second title in school history. This year’s playoff run has been keyed by a deep pitching, led by the trio of Hunter Dietz, Landen Maroudis and Liam Peterson. Those abundance of arms have helped Calvary Christian win eight straight games heading into today’s game. During their current streak, the Warriors have recorded six shutouts and allowed just four runs. The Stallions, ranked third in the class and seventh in the state by MaxPreps, are in the state semifinals for the first time since 2016. They have won 11 straight games.
