Here are the nominees for the Pasco County volleyball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Mailin Fletcher, Sr., River Ridge: Finished with eight kills and seven blocks in a win over Cypress Creek. 

Carissa Mixon, Sr., Land O’ Lakes: Among the team leaders in kills and blocks during the Gators’ 3-0 start. 

Sofia Sierra, So., Sunlake: Led the Seahawks with 23 assists, eight digs and six kills in a win over Wesley Chapel. 

Jaylie Trautner, Sr., Mitchell: Ended up with 18 assists, two digs and two aces in a win over Fivay.
