Here are the nominees for the Pasco County defensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Antwon Brown, Fr., Fivay: Had a 38-yard touchdown reception on offense and forced a fumble, picked off a pass and scored on a fumble recovery on defense in a win over Anclote.

Khalial Buckenroth, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Recorded 11 tackles and two sacks in a loss to Zephyrhills.

Victor Gracia, Jr., Mitchell: Finished with 10 tackles, a sack and a forced fumble in a win over River Ridge.

Hunter Grove, Jr., Bishop McLaughlin: Had five tackles and picked off a pass in a win over Bell Creek Academy.

Nolan Lussier, Sr., Cypress Creek: Recorded 12 tackles in a win over Melbourne Central Catholic.

AJ McFarlane, Sr., Hudson: Picked off two passes in a win over Pasco. 

Josiah Pickens, Sr., Gulf: Finished with 11 tackles and picked off a pass in a win over Anclote.
