Football: Pinellas County Defensive Player of the Week — Week 3, Sept. 8, 2023

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County defensive player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Ahmad Crumity, Jr., Shorecrest: Ended up with two catches for 39 yards and a touchdown on offense and had four tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery on defense in a win over Countryside Christian.

Logan Givens, Jr., Palm Harbor University: Finished with two tackles, a blocked punt and returned a fumble for a touchdown in a win over Sunlake.

Rashard Hartwell, Jr., Lakewood: Recorded 10 tackles and a sack in a loss to Homestead.

Letarrian Jones, Sr., Seminole: Ran for 55 yards and a touchdown on five carries on offense and recorded 13 tackles on defense in a win over Dunedin.

Timothy Marshall Jr., Sr., Northeast: Had four tackles, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in a win over Gibbs.

Jacobi McDaniel, Sr., Largo: Finished with eight tackles, an interception and a fumble recovery in a win over Boca Ciega.

James McDougald, Sr., Pinellas Park: Had five tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over East Lake.

Johnny Richardson, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Finished with three tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in a win over Tampa Catholic.

George Stamas, Sr., Tarpon Springs: Finished with 15 tackles in a win over Osceola.

Mike Wynn, Jr., Clearwater: Had three tackles and returned an interception for a touchdown in a win over Countryside.
