Biemiller commits to Gators
Jesuit pitcher McCall Biemiller made his college plans official by committing to Florida.
Last season, Biemiller went 3-0 with a 3.32 ERA and had 23 strikeouts in 12 ⅔ innings.

Bellaire picks Florida
Land O’ Lakes’ Makenna Bellaire, one of the top hitters in the area, put her future in motion by committing to Florida.
Bellaire hit .400 with three homers and 17 RBIs as a sophomore last season.
Sturgis commits to FSU
Alonso two-sport standout Makenna Sturgis announced her decision to play softball at Florida State.
Sturgis hit .415 with two homers and 12 RBIs as a sophomore last season.
She also is a receiver for the Ravens’ flag football team that went undefeated en route to a state title and No. 1 national ranking this past season.

What to watch tonight
Wiregrass Ranch (12-6) at Carrollwood Day (21-6), 5
The Bulls have won seven of their last eight matches, the lone loss coming against Springstead in five sets last week. Keeping that momentum could be tough against the Patriots, who have won four straight, including victories over Plant, Berkeley Prep and Clearwater Central Catholic in that span.
Seffner Christian (12-9) at Bell Creek Academy (16-6), 7
After starting the season 7-9, the Crusaders have won five straight matches to climb above .500. Now, they try to exact revenge for a loss to the host Panthers last month. Last week, Bell Creek Academy had its 10-match win streak snapped with a loss to Tampa Catholic.
Clearwater Central Catholic (11-11) at St. Petersburg (15-7), 7
The Marauders’ snapped a four-match losing streak with wins over Academy of the Holy Names and McMichael Phoenix (NC) at Venice’s Battle of the Beach tournament this past weekend. The host Green Devils, meanwhile, are coming off an impressive 4-1 performance at the Shorecrest Invitational.
