Macgregor to play for Tampa SLAM
Daniel Macgregor, the Pinellas Private School Conference player of the year for Calvary Christian this past year, is going to play his senior season at Tampa SLAM.
The Stetson commit told Prime Time Preps about his plans in a direct message on X (formerly Twitter).
Last season, Macgregor was a prolific — and consistent — scorer, averaging 21.8 points per game. He reached double digits in scoring in every game and had 30 or more points three times, including a career-best 39.
By joining Tampa SLAM, Macgregor gives the Spartans even more production in their quest for a second straight state semifinal appearance in Class 2A.
Baseball
Alvarez commits to Auburn
Northside Christian pitcher Andreas Alvarez announced his commitment to Auburn last month.
Alvarez went 6-3 with a 1.41 ERA and had 72 strikeouts in 44 ⅔ innings as a junior this past season.

Two East Lake players make college commitments
East Lake’s Maddie Bostak and Emily Boylan, both seniors, each made their college plans official.
Bostak committed to Eckerd. Last season, she hit .271 with 13 RBIs.
Boylan is headed to St. Petersburg College. She hit .250 with 11 RBIs.
