Here are the nominees for the Pasco County volleyball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Lauren Lambert, Sr., River Ridge: Ended up with a team-high 14 digs in a loss to Deltona Pine Ridge in the Class 5A region quarterfinals. 

Emma Letourneau, Sr., Wesley Chapel: Recorded 11 kills, seven blocks and five digs in a win over Tavares in the Class 5A region quarterfinals. 

Taryn Newton, Jr., Mitchell: Had 12 kills, five blocks and three digs in a loss to Bloomingdale in the Class 6A region quarterfinals. 

Sofia Sierra, So., Sunlake: Finished with 21 assists, nine digs, seven kills and four aces in a win over Wiregrass Ranch in the Class 6A region quarterfinals.
