Girls basketball: Pinellas County player of the week — Dec. 11-16, 2023

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Thursday. 

Ella Abernathy, Jr., St. Petersburg: Scored a career-high 30 points, including 7-of-8 on 3-pointers, in a win over Osceola. 

Peyton Flourney, Sr., Gibbs: Led the Gladiators in wins over St. Petersburg and Academy of the Holy Names. 

Rylie Gillis, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Finished with 14 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Canterbury. 

Ava Graham, Sr., Keswick Christian: Recorded 20 points, eight rebounds and six assists in a win over Clearwater. 

Devyn Lavelle, Fr., Palm Harbor University: Finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Dunedin. 

Alahni Lovett, Jr., Lakewood: Led the Spartans with 27 points, 10 steals and eight assists in a win over St. Petersburg Catholic. 

Summer Morgan, So., Hollins: Led the Royals with a team-high 43 points in a win over Admiral Farragut. 

Ally Wright, So., Countryside: Ended up with 24 points, eight rebounds and eight steals in an overtime win over Largo.
