Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Aaron Laskey, Sr., Hernando: Ended up with 18 points, including hitting all four 3-point attempts, and had five rebounds in a win over Hudson. 

Austin Nicholson, Sr., Springstead: Finished with 18 points, four rebounds and three assists in a win over Nature Coast.

Isaac Priester, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Became the first player in school history to surpass 1,000 points in his career. 

Jeroen Watson, Sr., Central: Recorded a double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) to go along with five blocked shots in a win over Springstead.
