Here are the nominees for the Hernando County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Nick Cordero, Sr., Springstead: Finished with 21 points and five rebounds in a win over Land O’ Lakes. 

Braden Joyner, Sr., Central: Nearly had a triple-double, finishing with 16 points, 13 assists and eight steals in a win over Crystal River. 

Jaden Montzka, So., Hernando Christian: Scored a team-high 24 points, including 6-of-7 on free throws, in a win over American Collegiate. 

Isaac Priester, Sr., Weeki Wachee: Recorded a double-double, finishing with 21 points and 10 rebounds in a win over Hernando.
