Boys basketball: Pinellas County player of the week — Jan. 22-27, 2024

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County boys basketball player of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Elijah Ahlers, Fr., Northside Christian: Finished with 27 points and nine rebounds in a win over Keswick Christian. 

Nick Bearden, Jr., Shorecrest: Averaged 30.3 points per game in wins over St. Petersburg Catholic, Northside Christian and Indian Rocks Christian. 

Talon Brooks, Jr., Osceola: Averaged 31.3 points per game in wins over Bradenton Manatee and Pinellas Park. 

Anthony Brown, Fr., East Lake: Averaged a double-double (14 points, 11.6 rebounds per game) in wins over Land O’ Lakes, Largo and Clearwater. 

Nijuan Harris, 8th, Lakeside Christian: Finished with 21 points, six blocks, five rebounds and five steals to lead the Lions to win over Calvary Christian in the Pinellas Private School Conference title game.

Vuk Lazarevic, Sr., Admiral Farragut: Led the Blue Jackets with 28 points and 19 rebounds in a win over Northeast.  

Isaiah Medina, Jr., Gibbs: Averaged 12 points and 8.5 rebounds per game in wins over Osceola and Hollins. 

Melvion Wallace, Sr., Lakewood: Scored a team-high 25 points in a win over St. Petersburg.
