Here are the nominees for the Pasco County boys basketball player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Wednesday. 

Caleb Edmonds, Jr., Cypress Creek: Finished with a double-double (17 points, 10 rebounds) in a win over Weeki Wachee. 

John Golden, So., River Ridge: Ended up with a double-double (14 points, 10 rebounds) in a win over Cristo Rey Tampa. 

Preston Linville, Sr., Wiregrass Ranch: Recorded a double-double (24 points, 11 rebounds) in a win over Wesley Chapel.

Jason Mekdeci, So., Bishop McLaughlin: Ended up with a double-double (12 rebounds, 10 points) in a win over Seven Rivers Christian.  

Nicholas Nina, Sr., Sunlake: Finished with 14 points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals in a win over Weeki Wachee. 

Connor Peterson, Sr., Mitchell: Scored a season-high 33 points and tied a school record with eight 3-pointers in a win over Central.
