Here are the nominees for the Tampa Bay area girls lacrosse player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday.
Kelly Allred, Sr., Wharton: Ended up with a combined 21 ground balls, 14 goals and two assists in the first three games of the season.
Lucia Betts, Sr., Tampa Catholic: Led the state goals the first week of the season with 16 and had a combined seven assists in three games.
Mckenzey Craig, Jr., Plant: Assisted on a combined eight goals and scored four of her own in wins over Academy of the Holy Names and Robinson.
Isabell Fowler, Sr., Northeast: Finished with a combined 11 goals, 11 ground balls and three assists in wins over Countryside and Boca Ciega.
Liz Morris, So., Palm Harbor University: Finished second in the state in assists the first week of the season with 13 in wins over Countryside and Calvary Christian.
