Here are the nominees for the Hernando County baseball player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Korbin Baskind, Jr., Central: Lasted 4 ⅓ innings, giving up one earned run on five hits while striking out four in a win over Crystal River. 

Kaine Ellis, So., Hernando: Finished with three hits in a 5-4 win over Springstead. 

Jase Kelly, Jr., Weeki Wachee: Went a combined 4-for-7 with a double and an RBI in a pair of wins over Citrus. 

Nathaniel Sabino, Fr., Springstead: Hit a solo homer for the lone run of the game in a win over Hernando.

Joey Vancleave, Jr., Nature Coast: Was a homer away from hitting for the cycle in a win over Lecanto and had a homer, two singles and five RBIs in a win over South Sumter.
