Here are the nominees for the Hernando County baseball player of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Bryce Hewell, So., Nature Coast: Had a double and two RBIs at the plate and threw three scoreless relief innings on the mound in a win over Cypress Creek.   

Eric O’Dell, Jr., Hernando: Went a combined 3-for-6 with two doubles, two stolen bases and four RBIs in three games. 

Justin Tranum, Sr., Central: Threw 5 ⅔ scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out 12, on the mound and drove in two runs at the plate in a win over South Sumter.
