Baseball: Pinellas County pitcher of the week — March 25-30, 2024

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County baseball pitcher of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Troy Burke, Fr., St. Petersburg Catholic: Threw three scoreless innings,giving up one hit while striking out eight in a win over Lakeside Christian that was called early because of the mercy rule.

Braeden Callahan, Jr., Countryside: Recorded a one-hit shutout with 10 strikeouts in a win over Tarpon Springs. 

Jeffrey Crain, So., Admiral Farragut: Went four innings, allowing one unearned run on one hit while striking out nine in a win over Gibbs. 

Jayden Harriel, Sr., East Lake: Led the Eagles with a one-hit shutout and five strikeouts in a win over Wesley Chapel. 

Jack Johnson, Sr., Dunedin: Threw a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts in a win over Seminole. 

Julian Rosario, So., Hollins: Recorded a three-hitter, allowing two runs (one earned) while striking out seven in a win over Sarasota.
