Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County baseball pitcher of the week poll. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday.
Michael Fernandez, Sr., Gaither: Went 5 ⅓ innings, allowing one earned run on two hits while striking out 12 in a win over Leto for the Class 6A, District 9 title.
JP Glassford, Jr., Newsome: Hurled five scoreless, no-hit innings with four strikeouts in a win over Durant for the Class 7A, District 6 title.
Garrett Hill, Sr., Plant: Recorded a five-hitter, allowing one earned run while striking out five in a Class 7A, District 7 win over Sumner en route to the title.
Aden Knowles, Sr., Jesuit: Finished with a perfect game and had 14 strikeouts in a Class 5A, District 9 semifinal win over Spoto.
Michael Marroquin, Sr., Jefferson: Threw four scoreless innings, allowing two hits while striking out six in a win over King for the Class 4A, District 10 title.
Nick Riedel, Jr., Carrollwood Day: Lasted 6 ⅓ innings, allowing two unearned runs on one hit while striking out nine in a win over Seffner Christian for the Class 2A, District 10 title.
Alex Sotiropoulos, Sr., Tampa Catholic: Went five scoreless innings, allowing one hit while striking out 10 in a win over Berkeley Prep for the Class 3A, District 5 title.
