Ocala Christian (7-0) at Academy at the Lakes (1-4), 6

The host Wildcats have a tough test against Ocala Christian, which is ranked fourth in the state in eight-man football by MaxPreps and has outscored its foes by a combined 358-48. 

Putnam’s prediction: Ocala Christian 38-14

Palm Harbor University (3-2) at Osceola (5-1), 7

The visiting Hurricanes and their three-game win streak snapped with a loss to rival East Lake last week. The Warriors, meanwhile, have won three straight. 

Putnam’s prediction: Palm Harbor University 21-20

Northeast (5-0) at Countryside (3-2), 7

The undefeated Vikings can use this game as a tuneup to get ready for next week’s Class 6A, District 11 showdown with Boca Ciega. 

Putnam’s prediction: Northeast 35-16

Boca Ciega (4-1) at Largo (1-4), 7

The Pirates, who have won four straight, cannot afford to look past this game. Though the Packers have lost four straight, the last three were by a combined 10 points to Clearwater, Gaither and Lakewood. 

Putnam’s prediction: Boca Ciega 17-13

St. Petersburg (1-4) at Pinellas Park (4-1), 7

The Patriots, whose perfect start ended with a loss to Northeast last week, should have no trouble getting back on track tonight. 

Putnam’s prediction: Pinellas Park 42-7
