Football: The Army Pinellas County offensive player of the week (Week 3/Sept. 9)

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County offensive player of the week, sponsored by the Army. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Saturday. 

ATH Jarvis Boatwright, Jr., Clearwater: Ran for 169 yards and three touchdowns on six carries on offense and had an interception and a sack on defense in a win over Countryside. 

RB Mykehl Boebert, Jr., Palm Harbor University: Rushed for 92 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries in a win over Sunlake.

RB Nathan Carter, Jr., Osceola: Finished with 242 yards rushing and one touchdown on 23 carries in a win over Tarpon Springs. 

WR Deangleo Owens, Sr., Northeast: Ended up with four catches for 66 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Northeast. 

RB Malachi Peterson, Jr., Largo: Ran for 162 yards and two touchdowns on 20 carries in a win over Boca Ciega.

RB Luke Yoder, Sr., East Lake: Accounted for 64 of offense (47 rushing, 17 receiving) and four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving), all in the first half, in a win over Pinellas Park.
