Calvary Christian (10-2) vs. Hernando (11-2), 6 (at Hernando’s Leopard Slam)

Last year, these teams met three times. The Warriors won each one, including the final of the Leopard Slam and the Class 3A state title game. Calvary Christian already is off to a solid start in defense of its state title with wins over Lakewood Ranch, Parrish Community and Berkeley Prep, among others. The Leopards enter on a three-game win streak, outscoring Steinbrenner, Central and Lecanto by a combined 35-4.
