Baseball: Hillsborough County pitcher of the week — April 10-15

Here are the nominees for the Hillsborough County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Alejandro Aguilar, Sr., Jefferson: Led the Dragons with a no-hit shutout (one walk away from being perfect) and recorded 13 strikeouts in a win over Brandon. 

Brandon Gonzales, So., Sickles: Threw five scoreless innings, allowing two hits and two strikeouts in a win over Leto. 

Rivers Kurland, So., Berkeley Prep: Hurled a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in a win over Clearwater Central Catholic. 

Aden Knowles, Jr., Jesuit: Threw 4 ⅔ scoreless innings, allowing five hits while striking out five in a win over Tampa Catholic. 

Jackson Mueller, Sr., Lennard: Went scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out six in a win over Bradenton Manatee. 

Russell Sandefer, Sr., Robinson: Threw six scoreless innings, allowing four hits while striking out 10 in a win over Chamberlain.
