Baseball: Pinellas County pitcher of the week — April 10-15

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Hunter Dietz, Sr., Calvary Christian: Hurled six scoreless innings, allowing three hits while striking out nine in a win over Venice. 

Kole Hopkins, Jr., Tarpon Springs: Threw a four-hit shutout with seven strikeouts in a win over Boca Ciega. 

Wade Johnson, Sr., East Lake: Finished with an eight-hit shutout and had nine strikeouts in a win over Northeast. 

Blake Lightfield, Jr., Keswick Christian: Led the Crusaders by throwing a one-hit shutout with 13 strikeouts in a win over Hernando Christian in the Sunshine State Athletic Conference final. 

Alexander Polanco, Sr., Osceola: Threw a four-hit shutout with nine strikeouts in a win over Clearwater. 

Adam Wehse, Jr., Pinellas Park: Hurled six innings, allowing one earned run on two hits and eight strikeouts in a win over Northside Christian.
