Here are the nominees for the Pasco County pitcher of the week. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Matt Altman, Fr., Bishop McLaughlin: Allowed two earned runs on seven hits while striking out two in a win over Maitland Orangewood Christian in the Class 2A region quarterfinals. 

Nathan Aprile, Jr., Land O’ Lakes: Threw a combined 4 ⅔ innings, allowing two earned runs on five hits while recording five strikeouts in wins over Wiregrass Ranch and Lakeland George Jenkins in the Class 6A region quarterfinals and semifinals. 

Mills Carrillo, Fr., Wesley Chapel: Went six innings, allowing two unearned runs on five hits while recording six strikeouts in a loss to Daytona Beach Seabreeze in the Class 5A region quarterfinals. 

Austin Dobbins, Sr., Zephyrhills: Hurled a three-hitter, allowing three unearned runs while striking out six in a loss to Sebring in the Class 5A region quarterfinals.
