Boys basketball: Pinellas County player of the year (Classes 4A-2A) — June 21

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County boys basketball player of the year in Classes 4A-2A. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Marcus Calvin, Sr., Gibbs: Recorded 10.1 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Class 4A state semifinalist Gladiators. 

Jacob Daniels, So., Gibbs: Averaged 16.8 points, 4 rebounds and 3.7 assists per game in leading the Gladiators to the Class 4A state semifinals.

Tobias Gunter, Sr., Northside Christian: Ended up averaging 19.8 points, 10.1 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 2.3 steals in leading the Mustangs to the Class 3A region quarterfinals. 

Devin Hayes, Sr., Canterbury: Finished with 14.7 points, 2.7 assists and 2 steals to help the Crusaders reach the Class 2A region final. 

Lucas Kolaxis, Sr., Lakeside Christian: Recorded 14.3 points, 7.7 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game for the Class 2A region semifinalist Lions. 

Daniel Macgregor, Jr., Calvary Christian: Finished with an average of 21.8 points, 7.1 rebounds, 4.2 assists and 3.3 steals per game to lead the Warriors to the Class 3A region semifinals. 

Michael Moton, Sr., Lakewood: Ended up averaging 17.5 points, 5.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for the Class 4A region semifinalist Spartans. 

Jordan Naylor, Jr., Canterbury: Recorded 20.6 points, 9.4 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.8 steals per game to lead the Crusaders to the Class 2A region final. 

Kaleb Oriol, Jr., Admiral Farragut: Averaged 19.1 points and 2.5 steals per game in helping the Blue Jackets to reach the Class 2A region quarterfinals. 

Dom Sariguma, Sr., Calvary Christian: Ended up averaging 11.7 points and 4.3 assists per game in helping the Warriors reach the Class 3A region semifinals.

Skyler Scull, Sr., Northside Christian: Averaged 15.7 points, 5.3 assists and 3.4 rebounds for the Class 3A region quarterfinalist Mustangs.

Ace Taylor, Jr., Calvary Christian: Recorded 18 points and 6.6 rebounds per game for the Class 3A region semifinalist Warriors.
