Boys basketball: Pinellas County player of the year (Classes 7A-5A) — June 21

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County boys basketball player of the year in Classes 7A-5A. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Friday. 

Quez Curry Jr., Sr., St. Petersburg: Ended up averaging 12.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game to help the Green Devils reach the Class 5A state semifinals. 

Tristan Gross, Sr., St. Petersburg: Averaged 17.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game in helping the Green Devils reach the Class 5A state semifinals.  

Dylan Kramer, Sr., St. Petersburg: Recorded 15 points and 10.6 rebounds per game for the Class 5A state semifinalist Green Devils.  

Henry Hurst, Sr., East Lake: Averaged 14.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game to help the Eagles reach the Class 7A region quarterfinals. 

Justin Kruszewski, Sr., East Lake: Finished with an average of 22.9 points and 1.8 assists per game for the Class 7A region quarterfinalist Eagles. 

Adrian Moore, Jr., Largo: Averaged a team-leading 14.1 points per game to lead the Packers to the Class 6A region quarterfinals. 

Nicholas Simes, Jr., Clearwater: Recorded 12 points and 3.5 assists for the Tornadoes this past season. 

Colin Way, Sr., Seminole: The Warhawks top scorer led the program to a Class 5A region quarterfinal appearance. 

Kobie White, Sr., Countryside: Ended up averaging 11 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists to help the Cougars reach the Class 6A region quarterfinals.
