Girls basketball: Pinellas County player of the year (Classes 4A-2A) — June 23

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the year in Classes 7A-5A. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Zy’nasia Alhuzaifi, So., Canterbury: Recorded 11.4 points and 9.9 rebounds for the Crusaders this season. 

Alexis Benoit, Jr., Clearwater Central Catholic: Averaged 11.6 points per game for the Marauders this season. 

Robyn Cantwell, So., Keswick Christian: Finished with an average of 13 points, 3.8 steals and 3.6 assists to help the Crusaders reach the Class 2A region final. 

Jacquavia Ferguson, Jr., Gibbs: Recorded 16.6 points per game for the Class 4A region semifinalist Gladiators. 

Peyton Flourney, So., Gibbs: Averaged 17.3 points per game to lead the Gladiators to the Class 4A region semifinals. 

Liv Geritano, So., St. Petersburg Catholic: Finished with an average of 17.5 points, 6.3 steals and 5.3 rebounds per game for the Barons this season. 

Ava Graham, Jr., Keswick Christian: Ended up averaging 16.4 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game to help the Crusaders reach the Class 2A region final. 

Kim Guzman, Sr., Lakeside Christian: Averaged 15.6 points, 3.9 rebounds and 3.1 steals per game for the Lions this season. 

Nevaeh Hillmon, Sr., Lakewood: Finished with an average of 9.7 points, 2.7 assists and 2.7 steals per game to help the Spartans reach the Class 4A region semifinals. 

Iloa James, So., Lakewood: Recorded 5.1 points and 5 assists per game for the Class 5A region semifinalist Spartans. 

Sumayah McIntosh, So., Lakewood: Averaged 14.7 points, 6 rebounds and 5.3 steals to help the Spartans advance to the Class 4A region semifinals. 

Malia Stevens, Fr., Indian Rocks Christian: Finished with an average of 12.1 points and 3.1 rebounds per game for the Golden Eagles this season. 

Zou Raine, Sr., Calvary Christian: Recorded 13.8 points and 2.9 rebounds per game to lead the Warriors to the Class 3A region quarterfinals.
