Girls basketball: Pinellas County player of the year (Classes 7A-5A) — June 23

Here are the nominees for the Pinellas County girls basketball player of the year in Classes 7A-5A. Voting lasts until 9 a.m. Monday. 

Adrianna Burr, Sr., Countryside: Ended up averaging 12.7 points, 12 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game for the Cougars this season. 

Avery Chatman, Fr., East Lake: Averaged 29.4 points, 5.5 rebounds and 5 steals per game for the Eagles this season. 

Geriya Grady, Sr., Clearwater: Finished with an average of 7.8 points per game for the Class 5A state semifinalist Tornadoes. 

Mikayla Paschal, So., Largo: Averaged 20 points, 11.3 rebounds and 2.5 steals per game for the Packers this season. 

Sydney Rush, Sr., East Lake: Recorded 13 points, 7.8 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 4.3 steals per game for the Eagles this season. 

Ava Stoller, Sr., St. Petersburg: Finished with an average 25.5 points, 5.7 steals and 3.4 assists per game to lead the Green Devils to the Class 5A region semifinals. 

Ace Sturdivant, Sr., Clearwater: Averaged 14.6 points and 2 assists per game to lead the Tornadoes to the Class 5A state semifinals. 

Pink Sturdivant, So., Clearwater: Recorded 13.1 points and 2.4 rebounds per game to help the Tornadoes reach the Class 5A state semifinals.
